Sponsoring a child for education
Being in the glamour industry, I have always been away from the good cause. I hated to be part of an event that did not serve me the best. Once, my friend asked me why I am always aloof and to some extent selfish. I replied subtly that nobody in this world is here to do a good deed for others. She strongly disagreed with me and told me that there are people in the world who also serve the society for its betterment. She took me to a place where kids were laughing and playing. Looking at them, I was really happy. Their innocence and enthusiasm made me emotional. She explained me that these kids are happy because their dream of been literate is fulfilled. Now, their dream is to be self reliant, and they are working hard by studying day and night. Further on, she told me that Tarang – a non-profit foundation is committed to a prosperous India where each and every child in India is educated. They provide different facilities with aid to complete their academic studies and make them self reliant. Since then, I have been volunteering and sponsoring a child for education. Now, I do believe in good cause.
