Basics on Animation colleges and courses
Many modern animation colleges have emerged offering animation courses either in the direction of technical or creative animation. This is mainly due to the increased popularity of animated films. The fact that animation technology is always evolving one should consider joining a college that can be able to change with the technology; one which will enable one to be able to meet the customer’s demands. It should also enable one to meet the new exciting challenges in the animation industry arising as a result of rapidly changing technology. After completing the courses, it should have empowered one to always be in the forefront in the animation industry, so as to be able to create new and highly incredible career opportunities.
Most of the faculty teachers in these teaching centers are drawn from local animation studios. The animation curriculum in most of these colleges is project based. This enables the students to have practical on experience on animation work. The colleges have well equipped animation labs with pencil tests, Macpro digital animation stations, and storyboard. They also allow the students to have contact with most facilities and equipment on media arts program such as digital and film cameras, analog and digital recorders. The teachers train their students on how to deliver the best to the people.

Though the animation courses offered by the animation colleges may vary in names, the contents are basically much the same. The courses may include; Entertainment design, modeling and visual effects, game development, and 2D & 3D animation.
