A Career in Marketing
Marketing is regarded as one of the most important tools in today’s business scenario. It is important for every industry to use some or other marketing tools to survive in this competitive world. In today’s world, even the smallest consumer goods - be it a pan masala, matchstick box or joss stick - use marketing strategically to improve their business. Some use marketing in the initial stage to spread awareness about the product and some use it to beat the increasing competition and sustain in thebusiness or to build their position. Therefore, a career in marketing can be very challenging and fruitful at the same time.
Some companies want an MBA some are looking for a person who has acquired some professional degree or has some experience in the same field. Some employers do not bother about the academic background but consider work experience and achievements. Some companies offer jobs after graduation only, but it is always easier to get a good job in a big firm if you have done your MBA inmarketing or if you are B. com or M. com pass out. Some of the most common corporate positions in the field are brand manager, marketing manager, marketing research analysts, product manager, area manager, field manager, branch manager etc. There are a lot more opportunities present today in the market and if you have the zest to beat the world around you then you can do wonders in your field.
